Description
The flagship model of the time that even now has many deep-rooted fans due to its elegant style. It's a specialty car that has stable handling so the driver doesn't get tired even on long, high-speed drives, but its also a racing machine equipped with the original DCCD device that is equipped on the GDB-type Impreza. It has a few cornering particularities that come from the car's weight, but it reaches maximum speed from its stable handling, and in terms of stability it's one of the very best models.

- The Alcyone SVX was designed by the legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.
- Subaru actually lost money for each car sold. During its production run, it cost Subaru 75 million dollars.
- In real life, despite the large engine, heavy weight and automatic transmission, Subaru claimed that it can do up to 500 miles (around 800 km) on a single tank of fuel.
- In the USA, it is considerably rare. Only 640 were sold, due to this car being expensive on its production run. The expensive price may be attributed to the car itself being so technologically advanced for its day.
